Successverse ASK Foundation, in association with Read Write Productions, released The Higher Education Playbook – 101 Best Practices on 29 April 2026 at the Successverse Higher Education Excellence Conclave in Chennai. Conceptualised and curated by CA V. Pattabhi Ram and Dr. B. Anbuthambi, the publication brings together 101 impactful practices from higher education institutions across India. The initiative was created with a simple but powerful objective: to identify what is working on the ground and make those practices accessible to other institutions seeking to improve and transform. The playbook covers diverse areas including academic innovation, teaching-learning practices, assessment, research, faculty development, student support, industry engagement, technology, governance, sustainability and institutional development. With a foreword by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Government of India, and messages from several distinguished leaders from academia and industry, the publication represents a collective story of Indian higher education. More than a book, the Playbook is intended to serve as a practical reference for academic leaders. Successverse hopes that the practices documented in the publication will encourage institutions to adapt, innovate and build upon successful models to create stronger and more future-ready campuses.
