Personal Finance Programme at Sri Ramakrishna Arts & Science College

Successverse ASK Foundation continued its financial literacy outreach through a dedicated personal finance programme at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science. The programme was designed to help students develop a practical understanding of money management and the financial choices they will increasingly encounter as they enter professional life. The sessions focused on making financial concepts simple and relatable, moving beyond theoretical discussions to address everyday questions around savings, investments, financial planning, risk and wealth creation. Through interaction with experienced professionals and educators, students were encouraged to think about financial independence from an early stage and understand the importance of developing responsible money habits. The initiative forms part of Successverse’s larger commitment to strengthening the life skills of college students. The Foundation believes that employability and career readiness must go beyond academic knowledge and technical skills; young people also need the ability to manage their personal finances and make informed decisions. Programmes such as this provide an opportunity to bring financial education directly to campuses and engage students at a stage when they are beginning to make important choices about careers, income and their future. Successverse intends to expand such programmes across more institutions as part of its national financial empowerment mission.
